Marion rescued Mongkol in MaeTaeng, where he was about to be slaughtered. Mongkol an albino buffalo, had trouble fitting in with his herd mates. So, he was placed with another albino buffalo named Siri. Now they have found harmony together as “Siri Mongkol” (a Thai phrase meaning “prosperity and auspiciousness”).
